Unplugged is the debut EP by Australian rock band 5 Seconds of Summer. The EP was released on June 26, 2012 through Capitol Records. The EP featured two studio tracks, one studio cover and one live cover.
Background[]
- The EP was also recorded acoustic and the members were sick while recording which resulted in a sickly sounding vocals.
- Despite having no promotion apart from on Facebook and Twitter, Unplugged, reached number 3 on the iTunes chart in Australia [1] and the Top 20 in both New Zealand and Sweden.
- On 3rd December 2016, for their fifth anniversary they released Unplugged on Spotify and iTunes worldwide as it was originally only available in Australia & New Zealand.
